After your loss you may be left wondering how to honor your faithful companion and cherish the memories left behind. Our pet care team knows that the loss of a beloved pet is one of the most heartbreaking events we will experience in our lives and how hard it is to say farewell to a true friend.
We also know how important it is to celebrate the life of your pet in a way that is meaningful to you and your family. Whether your pet's loss is unexpected or not, we will support you in making cremation arrangements that best suit your needs.
Cremation is "the process of reducing the body involved by exposing it to intense heat." The body is reduced to its basic mineral form. Although processed remains are commonly called "ashes," the proper term is "cremains."

Cremation Options
Heavenly Paws Pet Funeral Home and Crematory offers private and communal cremations for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and most other pets, including some farm animals.
Private
A private cremation is when we place your pet alone in our cremation unit. This method gives pet parents reassurance that they will get only their pets cremains back. We offer for you to witness the cremation for a peace of mind with a scheduled appointment.
Communal
Finally communal cremation is for pet parents who do not want the cremains returned and cremains will be laid to rest in a non-recoverable manner. All cremations are priced by weight. Please give us a call to discuss what option is best for you, your pet, and your family.
Private cremations are returned in a beautifully handmade wooden urn, or a full selection of our urns can be found under our Memorial Products section.
Additional Information
Heavenly Paws uses a Pet Identification and Tracking System. This tracking system begins with labeling the deceased pet with the family name and the pet's name. Each pet receives a numbered stainless steel ID tag that is assigned to that pet and recorded in our state-of-the-art software program. The ID tag and paperwork track the pet through the entire cremation process and signatures and dates are required for the return of cremains.
Same day transportation from your home or veterinarian office is done so in a respective and fully professional manner by our highly trained and dedicated pet care team.
Pets may also be brought to our facility at 316 Rose Street Suite 2 Williamsport, PA 17701, by the family and by appointment only.
All cremations are performed on-site by a certified pet crematory operator. With cremation, your choices of remembrance gatherings and memorialization are unlimited. After considering all of the options, all that really matters is - what feels right to you? We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We strive to make this process as easy for you as possible. Always feel free to call us at (272 ) 236-1841 for additional information.
