The decision of euthanasia is one of the hardest decisions you may ever face, but recognizing that their quality of life outweighs the number of days, can make this decision one of the kindest acts of love you can do to give your pet a peaceful end-of-life experience.
Heavenly Paws has partnered with a veterinarian who specializes in humane euthanasia practices. You may choose to have the procedure done in your home or at our facility.
Our pet euthanasia services include, but are not limited to: a discussion about your concerns, thoughts, or questions surrounding euthanasia, sedation to ease discomfort, sedation assessment to ensure your pet is sleeping deeply and no longer responds to stimulation, followed by the euthanasia. You are welcome to spend as much time as you need with your pet after their passing before we take them into our care.
We will also include a memorial keepsake to help mend the broken heart: an ink paw print and a lock of fur, if desired, a pet loss booklet, transportation for cremation if necessary, and a courtesy notification to your family's veterinarian of your pet's passing for their records.

Notes Regarding Scheduling:
Heavenly Paws availability for euthanasia is based on our partnered Veterinarian’s schedules. At least 24 hours’ notice is recommended. Euthanasia fees are determined by the location where the euthanasia will take place, the weight of your pet, and if the euthanasia is during normal business hours, after hours, weekends, or holidays. We will make every effort to help you and your pet. If we are unavailable when you need us, we trust that your primary veterinarian will be able to provide excellent care for both you and your pet.
Emergencies do happen, please proceed with your primary care veterinarian or local emergency hospitals such as Animal Emergency Center in Watsontown, Metzger's VCA and CPVETs in State College, Hershey Emergency Hospital or SHORES.
